Zettelkasten

• A method invented by a German sociologist Niklas Luhmann to file information using zette (slips) in kasten (boxes).
• The three main categories are
  • fleeting notes
  • literature notes
  • fleeting notes
• Main radical characteristic is the lack of a “folder” or hierarchy that allows cross-domain connectivity between atomic bits of information.
